    Event Description:
The students of Coker College's Opera Workshop program are excited to present Lucinda y las Flores de la Nochebuena, a one-act children's holiday opera written in 2015 by composer Evan Mack and librettist Joshua McGuire. Directed by Dr. Christi McLain and conducted by Dr. Jerron Jorgensen, this opera will be performed for the public in Florence, SC at Central United Methodist Church on Nov. 28th at 6:30 p.m. and Dec. 1st at 4 p.m. in Watson Theater on the campus of Coker College. As a part of a new outreach initiative by Dr. McLain, four private performances will also be given at Hartsville Middle School to over 1,600 Darlington County K–12 students.
