Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Members
98th Annual Meeting honors community and business leaders

Hartsville, S.C. – On Thursday, January 17, the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce will host the 98th Annual Meeting at The Edition, 221 N Fifth Street, Hartsville from 5:30 to 7 p.m. “This year’s meeting will be a fun celebration of our members in a relaxed, social setting. Our members keep Hartsville commerce thriving and we want to show them appreciation for their efforts,” remarked Chamber president Quinetta Buterbaugh.
During the event, members will learn about the state of the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce and its accomplishments in 2018 from immediate past board chairperson Darnell Byrd-McPherson. Incoming chairperson Bobby McGee will address the crowd about the Chamber’s future and plans for 2018. “We couldn’t be successful without the leadership of our board of directors. Darnell has been a supportive and encouraging leader and I am grateful to Bobby for agreeing to lead us in 2019,” said Buterbaugh.
A highlight of the event is the recognition of the Will Woodham Business Person of the Year and the Rotary Citizen of the year. To nominate a deserving business or citizen for either award, visit www.hartsvillechamber.org.
