SUMMARY:Black Creek Arts Council - Summer Camp with Ember Estridge
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the arts over summer break at Black Creek Arts Council. This week-long camp will focus on the Element of Line and our state reptile\, the loggerhead sea turtle. We will create drawings and crafts. All pieces will be taken home on Thursday\, our final day together. For ages 5-11 *Please list all food allergies at registration\n\nWHEN:\n\nJune 17th - 20th\n\nMonday - Thursday\n\n9:00am - 12:00pm daily\n\nINVESTMENT:\n\n$150 includes all material and daily snacks\n\nABOUT THE TEACHER:\n\nI make illustrative art that is explorative and eclectic in nature. Using vivid colors and whimsical themes\, I seek to use art as a tool for coping and overcoming the discordant world we live in. Creating both sequential mass consumption pieces as well as stand-alone gallery pieces\, I desire my work to captivate a wide audience.\n\nAs an art educator in public Title 1 schools\, much of my work is inspired and created around the classroom. I tailor projects and lessons to engage and motivate students\, impacting my own art making in the process. The resourcefulness and inventiveness of creating art projects accessible to a wide range of students and ages allows me to see multiple possibilities for each art material.\n\nVisit Ember's Website: https://www.embersartwork.com
