• Darlington County Board of Education to hold special called meeting today at 6 p.m.

    The Darlington County Board of Education will hold a special called meeting on Monday, August 24 in the training room of the Darlington County School District Administrative Building (120 E. Smith Ave., Darlington). The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

     

    Due to the COVID-19 situations, masks are required and social distancing will be in place. Very limited seating is available for the public on a first-come, first-seated basis. The meeting will also be broadcast on the school district’s website (www.dcsdschools.org) and the school district's Facebook page while the meeting is in session. 

     

    The Board suspended the public comment portion of the agenda in the Spring; however, public comments for the Board can still be submitted via email to Audrey.Childers@darlington.k12.sc.us. Please put "BOARD COMMENT" in the headline. All comments submitted before noon on Monday, August 24, will be shared with the Board of Education before the meeting.
