DCSD announces revised locations for free meal pick-up

DARLINGTON, S.C. – The Darlington County School District (DCSD) is altering the locations available for families to pick up meals for their children free of charge. The change comes after thorough monitoring of participation rates across the county.

Only the following school sites will be open for curbside pickup of meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each weekday:

    •       Hartsville Middle School
    •       North Hartsville Elementary School
    •       Lamar High School
    •       Rosenwald Elementary and Middle School
    •       Darlington High School
    •       Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology

Meals are free for any child who is 18 years old and younger.

A parent will still be able to present a student’s meal card, which was previously provided to all DCSD students, to pick up a meal without the child present.
