    02/19/2021 - SC Housing provides assistance to households unable to pay rent or mortgage payments due to the pandemic

    Applications Open - SC Stay Rental & Mortgage Assistance Program

    Applications for SC Housing's SC Stay program are now open. The program offers South Carolinians who have been affected by COVID-19 up to $7,500 in short-term rental and mortgage assistance for up to six consecutive months. As part of the CARES ACT and through the program, $25 million in COVID-19 housing assistance will be available in South Carolina to residents who have fallen behind on their rent or mortgage payments.
