Learn how to transform scrap paper into whimsical Christmas ornaments. We will make vintage style bows and ribbon in several different sizes. We will combine them with natural elements such as branches and pine cones.

You can choose to make many small ones for your tree or to use as gift tags, and large bows big enough to adorn a door, mantle, or as a table centerpiece. Sky is the limit!
For the bigger bows I will show you how to secure them to paper hoops (like a wreath) and will also have the option to build them onto tree branches. This will not only look amazing but will also support your project while it dries fully. The smaller bows can be rested on a piece of cardboard for transportation.

The bows will be fully dried a day or two after taking them home, which then can be painted to match your décor.

I will provide some colorful paper (craft, gift wrap, old gift bags etc.) and cute fabric scraps that can be used as part of your building materials and negate the need for paint. Some may also like the raw look of the recycled paper.

Let’s get playing with paper and sticks and be delighted at what treasures can come from your backyard and the recycling bin!

The cost for this two hour class is $35. All materials are included (paper, glue, branches of different sizes, pine cones, some color paper options) and tools will be available for use during the workshop (brushes, scissors, clothespins etc.)
