The Byerly Foundation Will End Rolling Grant Reviews

THE BYERLY FOUNDATION WILL END ROLLING GRANT REVIEWS

Beginning immediately The Byerly Foundation will be ending its rolling grant reviews and will suspend any new grant making until further notice.

During this interim, the Foundation staff will continue working closely with people in the community to review key growth challenges, ideas for making significant impacts on key issues in the greater Hartsville area and helping strengthen relationships that will continue the “can-do culture” that makes Hartsville such a great community. 

The Foundation, which has been serving Hartsville since the sale of The Byerly Hospital in 1995, has initiated reviews and studies aimed at strengthening its role as a catalyst for positive change and growth in its three impact areas of education, economic development and social needs.
