State of Education Breakfast features leaders in education
    Hartsville Chamber hosts breakfast forum

Hartsville, SC – On November 2, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce will host its second State of Education Breakfast at The Edition, 221 N Fifth Street, Hartsville, S.C. The area’s top educational leaders will be speaking on the state of their institution. Included on the panel are Dr. Tim Newman, Darlington County School District; Dr. Robert Wyatt, Coker College; Mr. Ed Bethea, Florence-Darlington Technical College; and Dr. Hector Flores, SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics.
This event offers a unique and rare opportunity to gain information from our area’s leaders in education by bringing them together on one panel. “Education is the key to having a skilled workforce and expanding our economic impact to the greater Hartsville area. The Chamber is in its inaugural year of Champions for Education, in which we are connecting the business community to our schools. This forum is another tool we are using to make the program’s mission successful,” said chamber president Quinetta Buterbaugh.
The community is encouraged to attend. A delicious breakfast buffet prepared by Bizzell’s will begin being served at 7:30 a.m. with the program beginning promptly at 8 a.m. Tickets are available by calling the Hartsville Chamber at (843) 332-6401 or by visiting www.hartsvillechamber.org.  In addition to tickets, sponsorships are available, which include four tickets, the company’s name on promotional materials, and the company’s name listed in the event program.
The State of Education Breakfast is sponsored by Coker College, Raceway Ford Chevrolet, and Sonoco.
