Band Spring Masterworks Concert with Southern Singing Festival Pre-Concert Showcase

Come hear the Coker Singers and Coker Contemporary chorus share traditional styles of music from the American South in our Southern Singing Festival Showcase. This performance will feature Gospel, Spirituals, and Bluegrass music with an emphasis on authentic performance practice. It's the perfect appetizer for an evening of music at Coker University!

Join the Coker University Concert Band, made up of Coker students, faculty, and community members, for their Spring Masterworks concert. Director Deron Jimmerson will lead the band in a variety of contemporary selections based on the theme, "With Fearless Wings." Also featured with the band at this concert will be Coker faculty pianist, Dr. Jeremiah Padilla, performing the final movement of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 in Bb.
