DREAM EXPLORATION WITH GAYLE TORRESName: DREAM EXPLORATION WITH GAYLE TORRESDate: February 24, 2024Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM ESTEvent Description:
Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud recounted their dreams to one another. Jung called dreams “a little hidden window to the soul.” You are invited to bring a dream or a piece of a dream and work with it. No experience is necessary, only curiosity. Is required.
For those who explore a little bit of their dream life, the benefits are many: blood pressure is lowered, endorphins (the happy hormones) are released and one’s sense of well-being increases.
Using simple visual materials such as watercolor and/or colored pencils, you will make your own image to help bring you back into the dream. The purpose is not to completely “analyze” your dream, but to nudge possible associations and activate wisdom about your inner voice. Artistic talent or experience is not required.
Participants will receive guidance about different aspects of dreams. A slim dream journal will be provided for future use. All materials are provided.
Saturday, February 24th from 11:00am-1:00pm
