Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator

Job Duties

• Procuring goods and services for company use.
• Seeking the best available quality for the lowest price.
• Evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and reviewing product quality.
• Managing a viable pool of subcontractors and seeking additional subcontractors
• Developing purchasing strategies.
• Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
• Coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs.
• Establishing and implementing purchasing policies, procedures and best practices.
• Creating purchase orders for materials and labor
• Keeping inventory of warehouse supplies
• Checking in all receivables and checking out
• Jobsite delivery audits
• Operating forklift and other company vehicles
• Maintaining all storage spaces for organization, efficiency, cleanliness, and safety
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

· Drivers License

· Able to operate forklift—will train

· 5+ years in purchasing position

· Prefer some prior knowledge of construction/home building

· Technology experience with excel, databases, Microsoft Office, etc

· Interpersonal skills that allow you to work well with vendors, deliverers, our RiverBend team

· Ability to lift 50 lbs or more

· Background check and drug screening is required
