About Us
Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC) has been preparing students for success since 1963 through affordable, hands-on, career-focused education. Serving the Pee Dee region, FDTC offers comprehensive academic programs, technical training, continuing education, and workforce development opportunities designed to meet the needs of students, employers, and communities.
FDTC’s Hartsville Campus extends these opportunities to Hartsville and surrounding communities, offering post-secondary education, continuing education, and business and industry training. Opened in 1990 and relocated to its current location in 1996, the campus provides lecture and distance-learning classrooms, computer and resource labs, EMT and Allied Health labs, enrollment services, and meeting space for conferences and community activities.
