    Brenda Cranford School of Dance

For 39 years, Brenda Cranford School of Dance has been a strong fixture in our Pee Dee Region. As a family owned studio, owners Kim and Brenda Cranford have established the dance studio as a fundamental and educational aspect of arts training for all ages.  Their vision of providing a positive environment for dancers to train and grow in dance as well as instilling valuable life lessons in self confidence and morals has been an important part of the growth and reputation of BCSD.

Like many of our friends in Hartsville, the surrounding area and the world, we never imagined that when we closed our doors in mid March, that it would be for so long.  We are working hard to maintain our business home so that our students and families have a structured, safe and familiar place to come back to.  We truly believe that consistency and activity are very important to help our families survive and thrive in this challenging time.

We are very committed to continue with our mission to enhance and improve the lives of our dancers and help them continue to achieve joy through dance training.  We look forward to many more great times and memories together at BCSD and will need, more than ever, your continued support of our program.  It is going to be a challenge to overcome this pandemic and adapt to new normal for us all.  We are not giving up on this season 39 and hope to continue back with classes by June, July and possibly have our show in late July. We are considering even an early fall conclusion if needed.  We realize the situation, guidelines and mandates are constantly changing and we will very likely have to adapt the way we "celebrate" the finale of this season.  We are discussing multiple options and are not asking for any payments on tuition now, but for your support when we return.   We appreciate you all and please keep the dancers engaged by watching their videos.  We have decided that at this time, virtual classes are not in our plan as a substitute for actual class time and corrections, but are open to the possibility of this as an alternative if needed. We want our dancers to stay engaged and please feel free to offer any suggestion (or encouragement) that may be helpful to us.

We are wishing all of our dancers and families good health, safety and blessings until we can return together.
