              This is to inform the public of the opportunity to attend a public hearing on the proposed SFY 2026 – 2027 Section 5310, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program Application to be submitted to the South Carolina Department of Transportation no later than March 6, 2026.

              Those interested in attending a public hearing on this application should contact Ruth Blocker, Executive Director in writing on or before March 24, 2026 at 10:00 am.  The public hearing will be held on March 24, 2026 at 4:00 pm before the Darlington County Disabilities and Special Needs Board.               The Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program provides capital assistance for transportation options and services for the communities operating in Darlington County. Services are rendered by Darlington County Disabilities and Special Needs Board.

              The total estimated amount requested for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
