Where does mental and physical health fit into your schedule? If we are honest, parents, children, professionals, and young adults are still adjusting to changes and challenges and most can agree that we need to simply pause. Sometimes we get so consumed with day to day activities, that we fail to refill our own cups. Are we maximizing our use to the world if we are empty and don't have the capacity or energy to recharge? Let's address nationwide NEEDS first. There's a need for togetherness, there is a need for mental health support, there is a need for physical health support.

Darlington County First Steps has formed a Health and Wellness Committee, comprised of local community partners, dedicated to coordinating community activities with a focus on mental and physical health. The first event is our Community Walk starting next week, February 17, 2021 at Byerly Park in Hartsville.

We hope that you all can join us as we decompress, release, and focus on self so we may be ready for life's encounters. All are welcome! See flyer below for more information and to pre-register.
