The YA Duo Is On Coker's Campus!

The YA Duo is a Percussion and Saxophone Duo formed in 2022 and based in Greensboro, NC. Percussionist Amy Xin Yin and saxophonist Jia-Yu Yang are current DMA students from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dedicated to their learning backgrounds of eastern and western music, the YA Duo aims to share more diverse music, especially from Asian composers. Through collaborations with living composers, the duo seeks to expand the existing repertoire for this pair's versatility.
