Hartsville Country Club - 27th Annual Players Championship

This weekend marks the 27th Annual Players Championship at Hartsville Country Club. This event is conducted by the South Carolina Junior Golf Association and features the finest junior golfers in the state. Past champions include 6-time PGA Tour winner Bill Haas, LPGA Tour member Lauren Stephenson, and University of Georgia standout Trent Phillips.

In order to host this prestigious event, the golf course will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday, and will be busy with practice rounds Friday. If you would like to play Friday, please call the Pro Shop to make a tee time in advance.

We encourage all of our members to come out this weekend and watch the tournament. Be sure to support HCC members Drew Andrews and Thomas Gainey.

As always, Hartsville's famous French Fry Guys will set up adjacent to the clubhouse and will be cooking all weekend. Members are more than welcome to stop by and eat.

The Players Championship has developed a reputation as one of the very best junior golf tournaments in the Carolinas largely due to the support of our members. We look forward to a fun-filled weekend for members and competitors, and we're excited to see everyone at the Club.
