Black Creek Arts Council - Classes This Week

We have two great classes this week at Black Creek Arts: Photography 101 & Let’s Play with Watercolor! We have several spots left for photography, but ONLY 1 spot left for Watercolor! No drop-ins are permitted at this time; you must preregister on the website before class starts.

Black Creek Arts Council offers regular art classes and workshops for all ages and levels of expertise. We also have a program of wellness classes, including yoga and yoga workshops. Check out our current classes below or view the class calendar on our events page.

Do you have a camera sitting on the shelf collecting dust? Get a camera for Christmas and have no idea how to get it to work? Always wanted to learn photography but using your phone is just easier? Well now is your time! Bring your DSLR or mirrorless camera and learn the basics of photography. In this 6 week course, we’ll unbox your camera and teach you all you need to know to keep it from going back in the box and hidden under your bed. You’ll learn the basics of caring for your gear, manual mode, lighting, white balance, and composition. You’ll be able to move from “point and click” to be able to manually set your camera to take that beautiful photo. So grab your camera, your favorite notebook and pen, and join the world of photography!

Join us for a night of art made simple. Mallory will guide you step by step through your very own watercolor creation. Feel the joy and relaxation of learning and developing real, foundational skills in watercolor. Take home a finished piece ready to frame. These are beginner-friendly classes!

COST: $25 per class

******All students will be billed a 1-time $20 supply fee once registered.
