Summer, Here We Come + Meet Marley :)

We are gearing up for six weeks of summer programming

for teens in our community! Summer to us means even more 

new programming, new adventures, and new opportunities

for our growing community to support Positive Youth Development! 

Our Summer Schedule

We expect to serve at least 65 students this summer - triple the number of youth we have reached in previous summers!  We will provide outdoor adventures, creative adventures, music adventures, and so much more! I think I am most excited about beginning a Permaculture Design Project with our students. This Project will help determine how to best cultivate our land to achieve our programmatic and revenue generation goals, promote critical future food security, and offer our students long-term exposure to STEM and agricultural activities. Meet Marley, Program Assistant at Cypress Adventures. Marley’s perspective is unique because  she participated in our after-school program as a mentor when in high school. This school year, she has been serving as Program Assistant to the after-school Youth Leadership Program and has played a crucial role in the development of our new year-round Youth Council Program.
