After School Enrichment 2022

YMCA of the Upper Pee Dee After School Enrichment is now OPEN for registration!

At our Y's afterschool programs, your kids can unwind from their school day by participating in FUN, exciting activities.

Children will expand their learning beyond the classroom. We use a balanced curriculum with opportunities for character development, STEM activities, arts and humanities, community service and physical activity. We are here to provide your child with a safe, caring environment full of fun and learning! It’s vital that children have a safe enriching environment for learning, both in and out of school. The Y’s afterschool program helps children continue their social, emotional, physical and academic growth after the school day has ended.

Ages: 5-12

We provide safe care for your child and teach good character values while offering snacks, homework help, crafts, games, and physical fitness. On teacher workdays, all-day care is provided at the YMCA.

Registration fee: $30
Member: $58 per child/per week
Non-member: $78 per child/per week
($5 weekly discount for 2nd child or more within the same family)
Dates: August 1st- May 26th for Hartsville & Darlington
August 15th-June 1st for Chesterfield

After School Enrichment Counselors in Hartsville, Darlington, & Chesterfield!

Age requirements: 18+

Responsibilities: Must be available Monday through Friday afternoons.
Duties include homework assistance, preparing and serving snacks and overseeing physical activities of after school children.

HIRING After School Enrichment Bus Driver!
Darlington YMCA

Pay: $8

Age requirements: 25+

Responsibilities: 1-2 hrs daily during school days, sporadic hours may be available during summer and days out of school

Requirements: Clean driving record, high school diploma or GED. No CDL required. (Small 14 passenger bus)
