Free Virtual Disaster Preparedness Workshops!

As we approach the peak of hurricane season and kickoff national preparedness month the SC Region will be hosting 3 free virtual disaster preparedness workshops. These Be Red Cross Ready workshops last 1 hour and are intended to provide you with the key information to prepare yourselves and your family in the event a disaster.

The presentations will focus on 3 topic areas: How to build a disaster preparedness kit, what to do if you have to evacuate, and how to stay informed before, during, and after a disaster. Two of the presentations will be geared for adults and one will be a special presentation geared for teens age 13-18. 

These events will be held via zoom, and pre-registration is not required. Simply click on the join the workshop button below for the session you wish to attend 5-10 minutes before the start time. Please feel free to share this information with your family, friends, neighbors, and other connections as these events are open to anyone.
