              About Us

              Founded in 1914, Prestwood Country Club is the oldest private country club in Hartsville, South Carolina. The Club, nestled in one of Hartsville's oldest residential neighborhoods, sits along the shores of Prestwood Lake.

              During its formative years members enjoyed swimming, boating, and dancing in an open-air pavilion. The Club has expanded over the years to include a clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts. Yet it has continued to maintain and preserve its unique natural setting while remaining a place of recreation and amusement for its members and guests.

              Prestwood Country Club strives to build on this storied foundation to ensure that our Club will remain one of the most hospitable venues for family recreation and events for years to come.
